Sweet card

Five minutes was all it took to create this card today. Found piece of already cut pink card stock from stamping up then went through my scrap bag of papers. Lol yep my organized chaos at its best. I know where it's at at least so that is a plus. So without further looking here is the creation.

Simple and you can write whatever you want on the inside. And here is what used and dimensions:

Stampin up card stock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
White/clear floral piece 5-1/4 x 4-3/4
CTMH floral scrap piece 1-5/8 x 4-3/4
Hello stamp is Studio Calico
You're sweet is CTMH mad about you set
Ink is amethyst from CTMH

Yes a lot of CTMH but it's where I got started back in '09. I am now expanding to see what others are out there. I do like some of studio calico's stuff and loving Unity stamps. Stamping is fun and so is playing with paper 😍 enjoy!creating your own version if you like.

Prayer Flag

There is a wonderful lady, Carly, she lives in Australia. She started doing prayer flags for the little one she lost and it has turned into a worldwide event. She also does these gorgeous butterflies on the beach. She truly is an amazing soul.

Well this year I participated. I had many ideas go through my head but in the end he was a boy, they are the rough and tumble guys of our lives. He loved buttons, the feel of different textures and the coolness just left him smiling. So this was for him.

This my friend Cheron had done for me! She is so sweet!

School card

I made this cute little card for my Aubrey Girl. I figure since I can't be there in person I can do little things like send her cards I have created. Inspiring ways to get my blog updated!

Just some basic ivory card stock, a coral card stock I think from stamping up. The ink is sweet leaf from CTMH with basic black for wording and little girl from Unity. She came as a set of three I got as a little gift on a Unity hop! For the life of me can't remember the name of the stamp.

It's hard getting creative at times because I really don't have the space with no table, desk or chairs I do lots on the floor or little end table. Work with what I got!

For Love

I don't always get time just to make a card for my gorgeous daughter, but I was missing her so much I found it. Made her this cute little card

Couldn't resist the fun colors and flowers and stripes. Vibrant just like her! I am thinking of her and not the chaotic mess of life that now in because of divorce. That happens and between life, friends, family, and God I may get through it all.

The little ones, even if not so little anymore lol, are what can get you through these situations. So on this note I leave you to have a great weekend for MLK day. Recipe for card follows:

CTMH Off white card stock- 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 & 4 x 1 1/2
Raspberry Road Designs- love lives here- 3 1/2 x 6
CTMH stamp- bliss
CTMH ink- Ruby
Jillibean- navy beans paper cut with Martha Stewarts heart punch
CTMH brads

P.S. I will be doing more craft blogging I promise. Want to gear up into possibly selling cards and layouts for those who want them. Don't think you will find any cards like mine. LOL they are unique just like everyone out there.

P.S.S. Two blogs at once because I just realized that my Christmas one never posted 😞 lol oh the joys of tech.

Christmas Time

Hard to believe that there is only a week till Christmas!  Between work, getting ready for holiday, and making cards time just flew by. I have few picks of those to share with you, I think they came out rather cute 😍 I get to send them all out too lol. That is rare occurrence at times for me. I am such a procrastinator at times. Hehe hehe

This bunch for Mama Rita.

Christmas in the air.

Calling these my Winter Wonderland's.

I am eventually going to start building up stacks of cards and selling them one day on etsy or something.  I love making cards! And now to clue ya in on what has been going on in my world.....

I am excited as well just got my car back from shop.  And just so you know I am doing all of this with out the help from my ex husband. I shouldn't have to ask for him to help me out when he said he would. This is getting ridiculous, but at least I know I am starting to stand on my own two feet with out him. So yes ladies it can be done.

With patience, forgiveness, and love of family and friends life does go on. It is not my fault that he cheated, that is on him. Says he can't deal with how I do things that's him as well, he went and through 15 years out the door on someone else. And he can step up to that plate (think he has a little, but not completely). Especially since he isn't helping me out at all. I got it. Stand on my own two feet, but I have not worked in years been staying home with/for the family. I don't make near the amount of money he does some help would be nice, but not gonna beg for it.

So there is my vent for that for this next couple weeks. On a really bright note get my lovely daughter for the Holidays. So excited miss her so much. Not having her around is really hard. But we are coping. So will leave you with this pic of my pretty little car haha. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.
